The protected right of the people peaceably to assemble is unalienable, something that has afforded deep fundamental and historical foundations to our freedom. Our Founders established a clear “no trespassing sign” via our First Amendment to keep the government away from this God-given right essential to Liberty. “Congress shall make no law abridging…the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” But new legislation has been passed in Congress that will destroy this absolutely central, simple and non-negotiable right imperative to a free people.

HR 347 and S 1794, the “Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011″ has nothing to do with improving landscaping around federal buildings. auf_capitolrallyThis bill is being presented as a No Trespassing bill. Reasonable people understand that lawful restrictions and protections are needed for government officials and government functions. However, this legislation makes it a federal crime to allegedly DISRUPT the “ORDERLY CONDUCT” of government.

The violator doesn’t have to be physically on the grounds where the government business is being conducted, just within the vicinity of the self-proclaimed “business of government.” The law is not limited to buildings or locations as the title suggests, but seems to be “roving” and follows persons protected by Secret Service wherever they may go.

The right protected in the First Amendment is the right to peaceably assemble. We do not have the right to impede the flow of traffic, either on sidewalks or roadways. We do not have the right to impede anyone’s business practices. But this law is not about private business, it is about government operations. Make that Big Brother Government Operations.

This Congress has a habit of writing in vague and overbroad terms; yet, in order for laws to be Constitutionally sound they CANNOT be vague and overbroad in ANY aspect, and they can ONLY interfere with the rights of the people in as narrow a capacity as both necessary and according with Constitutional principle. But this law makes it a crime to disrupt the government. The Supreme Court has said this type of broad language gives too much power to the government, and they have been saying this since 1939. This law actually places the desire of the government to be free from disruption unconstitutional power over the right of the people to redress the government of their grievances.

Are you able to see that picture in your mind’s eye? That sure is a start! Do you currently have a sales background? Do you cope with the general public every day in a sales situation? Wow, you’re the ideal candidate.

If you want to set up a home network marketing business there are things you will have to do. Don’t spend ages fishing around online for good ideas, you might waste precious time and just end up confused and annoyed. It’s very straightforward to waste a lot of cash too.

Yes, I know it has been a while since I posted here. Between trying to bear down and really get free of my job and getting my fiancee Mary Jane here and getting married, it has been a complete booger.

Three days before the wedding

1. We discovered the fellow who was to marry us in Florida was not able to perform the wedding because of rules limited him to performing marriages only for those folks who live withing the boundaries of his congregation.
2. My mom and sister were completely freaking out because they could not find a seamstress to make a barong. I was oblivious to most of this freak out since I my comment was, “If you get time, could you see if you could find a seamstress to make me a shirt.” I forgot that the word wedding was a Code Red word for the female mind and carte blanche permission to absolutely lose your damn mind in all kinds of very interesting ways. (I say that as if I have not repeatedly found myself staring off into space for 30 and 45 minutes at a time.)
3. I must have forgotten 50 times in five days to go get the rings. It was a thought like a half filled water balloon covered in olive oil. I could not seem to keep it in my head long enough to act on it.

The list of things we could not seem to get done seemed to get longer as the days grew shorter. Mary Jane has the most beautiful hand made Mermaid wedding dress ever and she wanted to be married in a Church. I wanted that to happen and it seemed that I could not get it organized.

Everything was FUBARed.

The whole reason for getting her here now was because I did not want her to wait in the Philippines on her Green Card. I wanted her here, now.  I wanted to be married to her, now. I wanted to be present at the birth of our first child, not 8,000 miles away because some dickhead bureaucrat wants to make wives wait in their home countries while girlfriends can come over and shack up for 90 days.

If you think about that rule, as a Christian, you can see it really is an evil rule.

Sunshine Breaks Through

Suddenly, the sun shown through the clouds.All the problems melted away.

1. My bishop would drive down from Birmingham and perform the marriage.
2. We found a seamstress who could create a reasonable barong in 24 hours.
3. My dad wound up wearing the barong Mary Jane bought for me because it was too small. Easy thing to do since I am a 56 regular. Worked out well because it made the wedding party match up better.
4. I found a place with THE perfect set of wedding rings for me and my Mary Jane.
5. Even as I stood before the podium in the chapel, thinking it a shame there would be no wedding music, in walked about 20 missionaries, one of which was a pianist who performed the wedding music.
6. Mary Jane is looking at me like I am crazy as I type this, but hey, I am a MAN…a good ol’ boy from Alabama. The universe put me in charge of planning this thing and then…after all the chuckles from the Greek chorus were over with, took pity on me and gave my Mary Jane the wedding she deserved.

…with music, a crowd of well wishers, and a man who loves the very ground upon which she treads.
